Relocation Project Coordinator

ResponsibilitiesThe Relocation Project Coordinator is responsible, under the direction of the Regional Manager, for coordinating and assisting to ensure all physical apartment rehabilitations and resident relocations are completed in compliance with all company policies and procedures and all applicable Fair Housing and Human Rights statutes.
The Relocation Project Coordinator is directly responsible for the following:
Assist the Regional Manager with oversight of the renovation and completion of apartment projects on the premises.
Coordinate with contractors on rehabilitation projects; accompanies contractors with inspections on the premises.
Coordinate accessibility and permission to enter apartments with residents.
Inform all staff of scheduling, contractor visits, and the like.
Facilitate the resident relocation plan, suggests revisions to plan to Regional Manager to reduce negative resident impact and/or ease contractor's ability to complete rehabilitations timely.
Procure and manage move labor, including vendor/contractor bidding process, evaluate proposals and recommend selection of vendor/contractor.
Maintain complete and accurate records of apartment repairs and status of completion; including providing the Regional Manager with periodic reports.
Complete and submit accurate records of resident special work-order requests and responses.
Prepare various RFP's & level for vendor and contractor services for the complete project.
Review invoices and ensure timely payment.
Update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
Facilitate follow-up phone calls to residents to ensure that residents are satisfied, and follow-up on any comments or concerns post-rehabilitation with the Regional Manager and/or contractor.
Establish and maintain a good working team relationship with the development team, management team, contractor and maintenance staff.
Special projects, as assigned.
